Lo Starfighterteam è un gruppo di volo virtuale che riproduce le operazioni dell’ex 22° Gruppo di volo C.I.O. - “I Pluti” di base ad Istrana dal 1969 al 1999 e tuttora sede del glorioso 51° Stormo. Siamo degli entusiasti del volo ed in particolare delle attività di volo militari e curiamo una sfrenata passione per quello che riteniamo essere stato e forse essere tuttora, uno dei più belli aerei che sia mai stato costruito al mondo ovvero l’F-104 Starfighter. Come “Simmer”, cerchiamo di riprodurre le operazioni di volo reali al più alto livello di realismo possibile attraverso l'utilizzo di simulatori di volo e di altri software dedicati. Some information about who we are and what we do. The Starfighterteam is a virtual flying group who like to reproduce the operation of the former 22^nd Squadron C.I.O. – “I Pluti” based on Istrana AB from the 1969 to 1999 and still place of the 51^st Air Wing. We are extusiast of flight and in particular of the military activities and we take care of an unbridled passion for that we thought and maybe “is still” one of the best aircraft that has ever been built to the world, or the l’F-104 Starfighter. As “Simmer”, we try to reproduce the real air military operations at the highest level is possible, using flight simulators and other specific software.
